The process and its duration

I am hopeful to get ITA by April ends draw. How much time does going to take to complete the whole process and leave for Canada?

What will be the process after arriving to Canada and its duration. How many years you have to stay there to be a permanent resident? Can we travel in that time?

Supposedly 6 months to process. After you are given PR you have 12 months to land in Canada and get your PR card. You can travel after but there is a minimum time you spend in Canada for the duration of your PR.

Thanks for the answer. I have a good job and i want to go once i have job offer in my hand, or else i am thinking of taking a 20 days leave, going there and do the necessary procedures and come back. Once i have offer i can leave permanently. Is that possible. :

Yes - it's possible. But you must live in Canada for 2 out of every 5 years or you will no longer meet the requirements to keep your PR status.
