Hi everyone,

After going through all the possible temporary visas on cic.gc.ca I came across the Francophone Significant Benefit Program.
This basically is a way for French speaker who are willing to work outside Quebec to get a 2 years renewable work permit and exempt employers from the LMO.

Those specs are not negligible and could be a great advantages for me.
However, they do not mention how to process through this program and I cannot find anything else online about it.

Has anyone used it before?
Would be cool if someone could guide me :)

Thank you all!!

Alex

You need to contact the Paris visa office if you have an employment offer in Canada that you think may qualify under this program.

More information available here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/hire/francophone.asp

If you don't yet have an employment offer in Canada - then the first step is getting one.

Good afternoon. Could anyone shed some light on the matter of the working permit through the Francophone Significant Benefit program.
I have been approved, however the CIC informs me that the permit will be issued upon entry to Canada even though I already am in Canada.
Also, only the date of validity of the permit is mentioned. My question is, am I able to proceed right away by leaving and come back?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Salut.
