I've taken a one-year pathway course(certificate) in a college and I have a plan to take another two-year course(diploma) which starts in Aug in another college.
My course will end on April 29 and the expiry date of my study permit has been approved for the same period as my course(April 29 / I can't understand why).
My questions are below.
1. Which is correct? apply for the extension of study permit? or apply for a new study permit?
2. In case of an extension, is it risky to apply for a study permit on a program that starts in Aug just before my study permit expires under implied status?
(Current course ends on April 29 / My study permit expiry date is April 29 / New program starts in Aug)
