My younger brother just got a visitor's visa.
Few items:
He has a Law Degree and was working in a law firm
Process:
-He had an appointment with VSF Global they took his biometrics and he paid (but the agent handled everything ) after a few weeks he got an email from VSF that the envelope and decision had to be collected and we confirmed this via VSF tracking online
The agent collected the passport on his behalf and I wish to point out that we’ve only paid him 90% of the agreed fees and my assumption is that he will give us access once we finish the last payment.
The plan is he has to convert his visitor to either work or student visa while in Canada. The aim is to get PR at some point
Questions:
Which is a better and easier conversion option student or work?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

- He wanted to pursue further studies in Canada (Masters's Degree) but due to unforeseen reasons, we knew he wouldn’t get a student visa while here in his home country so he never applied for it.
- A few weeks ago, via an agent he managed to get a 5-year Visitors visa.

- How much does it cost? via lawyers?
- Comprehensive list of docs that he should have for either of the two options
- Time limits?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
