The completion of my citizenship application, or the end of time - which first?

Hey there!

So I applied for citizenship in October 2013, Vancouver office. Test in January 2015. At the test they gave me a request for my US travel history. I provided my online I-94 report (which I mailed to them the very day of my test) , and my FOIA travel report (which I mailed to them about 2 months after my test). I haven't heard anything since the test. The call center is absolutely useless and refuses to even look into my file status.

So I guess my file is non routine. Am I actually going to have to wait until 36 months has passed to get my citizenship? I feel like I'm being punished for going on vacation. Do I have any kind of recourse other than just waiting?

Now a days such document requests are processed faster as compared to previous years. As your application is non-routine no one can actually tell you when exactly you will get the oath letter.
Stay positive and patiently wait.

By the way, do you know the reason why you were asked for the USA entry/exit records? Did you have extensive travel to USA?
