TFW with commonlaw partner

Hi there,,,,right now I'm on a process of filling my PR and TFW...but I am in a commonlaw relationship...and we have a daughter together and my work permits is on 4 years cap...expires April 2015....what if reaches the 4 yrs cap...and didn't receive results by the time it expires...what will happen then...any input pls???

You didn't say under which program you were applying, but you will likely be eligible for a bridging open work permit -
