hi guys, how true that when 2 FILIPINO TFW's have their baby born here in Canada (Alberta), the baby will not be a canadian citizen since both parents are contract workers. Can someone shed a light on this? Other important information will be appreciated too.

Hi,

I am pregnant and will due on October. But for a series of misfortune my employer's application for LMIA was refused for a 3rd time now. I guess they are shutting down the Live-in caregiver program. Now my current status will expire this July 9 and no way i can get another one. NO time and no other employer. But my partner is a skilled worker in saskachewan waiting for hi PR application. My qyuestion is :

1) Is it okay if i give birth here although i know i will not be covered for health care and will surely spend more or less 10 grand CAD?
2) In case we get married after he has his PR will it not affect his status knowing after July i am already an undocumented/illegal immigrant?

What are your advice. Please share with me any ideas to help. Thanks a lot.
