Dear all,

I passed (?) the Test in September 2011. There is still no notice of this on eCAS (only an invitation to appear to take the test).
"Test passed" or "not passed"- does it show on eCAS ?
Thank you.

As far as I know it does not. They should send you an oath letter in mail.

Sorry to hear that you are waiting for about 20 months after test???........It gives me a feeling that you may have failed the test and you are in the queue for the judge hearing.

Apply for GCMS to dig more info.

Thank you for your replies, guys.

Yes, I got RQ. According to eCAS, RQ was sent on the day of Test.

(CIC made a mistake and sent RQ to my old address, although the invitation to the Test 1 month earlier was sent to the right one. The "calling CIC- sending new RQ" resulted in 3 months additional delay).

It is hardly possible to fail the test - it was quite easy.

Does the "test passed"-message show on eCAS? Have you got to read it?

No, the test result will not show on ecas, but if you ask for your notes it will say. I got RQ after test. My notes I requested states "Test Status: Passed".

Why do they send RQ after the test not before? I just cannot understand them.

Well, remember that interrogation you went through before you entered the test room? Your documents (passports, stamps, etc.) did not convince the officer that you were truthful about your residence in Canada when you applied for citizenship.

OR

he /she had a bad day or their boss drought your file out of the pile for quality assurance or ... the weather was bad or ...

Since the whole RQ process is so confidential and in-transparent only god knows or, hold on, it's possible that not even Almighty knows.

Sorry for the ironic/sarcastic comment! This is to comment the CIC procedures not your specific case. You have my deepest sympathy like everybody else, who received this live-changing RQ shit. Why am I saying this, well because every information requested in a RQ can be obtained from the various computer systems the government is running in a day and all of us are paying for these computer systems though our tax dollars.

As for my thinking - they are lazy, they want us to prove our residential ties to Canada though it's just a few minutes job for them to get all the info they want.
