HELLO EVERY ONE,

I am tired of this situation.

My post grad Work permit issued for 3 years is getting expired next month. I am at 461 points on EE profile. No PNP, NO LMIA. NOC :3213. What is the best option for me rather than going back to home country? Please advice.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Rakesh

If you had a work permit for 3 years, how come you don't have a job with LMIA to gain additional 600 points in Express Entry?

Anyway, I don't think you get any additional points for having a work permit. You can still get a Provisional Nomination since you studied PG in Canada. Since this is last minute, you should try and stay in Canada for a few more months legally, extend your stay, change your status to tourist or do anything because you will most likely get an ITA in a few months at a score 460+ if you maintain the score and if everything in your profile is valid and you have all documents needed to verify all information in your profile.

You must have gained additional points for Canadian Experience due to your study in Canada and stay, you will still get an advantage from those points and hopefully get an ITA in a few months. But, just do not stay illegally or break any immigration laws, as that can lead to a temporary or permanent ban from Canada. Good luck

Buddy Its hard to find a job here and you are talking about LMIA? its not a cakewalk, lots of people taking advantage of this situation and charging 10-15k for LMIA.

You can apply for visitor visa but you'll have to show proof of fund that you can survive without a job. But if you go this route you won't be able to work legally until you receive PR. Might be a long process. I hope they get back to 1500 ITAs per draw and drop the score.

Hello Rakesh,

do one thing, apply for extension of WP on the last date of your current WP expiration date, do paper application so it will take almost 3-4 months to get rejected, this time is 'implied status' so you can work legally and claim points for that too. After you get your WP extension rejection email, you will have 3 months to restore your status, so in this time apply for visitor visa and you will get visitor visa up to 9 months. Hope this will help.
