Good Day to all! I want to share my timeline of application and ask i this is normal?

Jan. 24 2012 - Air21 Picked Up my application.
Feb. 9 2012 - Received MR
Feb. 17 2012 - Had my Medical at Nationwide Health Systems
March 13 2012 - Medical Results forwarded to the Embassy
May 16 2012 - Received a letter from the Embassy asking for additional requirements. (My complete SSS information) with deadline of June 6, 2012
June 2, 2012 - Air21 picked up my Addtional Documents

My friends are saying that it is a good sign that they asked for additional documents. Is it true? I followed up thru Email and they replied that my application is in line for review of a VO. I Hope everything goes well. Thank You and God Bless everyone!

yes, this is normal. You are right, they are asking for additional docs because they examine yor apps further, meaning, they are interested and you have big chance of granting a work permit. Your apps has a progress. You just have to be patient...Good luck to all of us.

@paylite kumusta na visa mo natanggap muna? hiningan rin kasi ako ng additional documents....

just a reminder,,,

vo is really finding ways to verify how authentic work experiences. even if supported with work certification if the vo is not contented, sss records is the other angle they will look for...

better be safe than sorry!

hi out..

just want to ask maybe you can advice me with this. i worked in canada for 3 years then arrived here april. i submitted my documents may 19. the problem was, i didnt include NBI there. should i message them for me to submit my NBI before they assess my papers or should i wait for the request of NBI from them? just getting nervous. Do you think that will it be a ground for refusal? hope not.. :-[
