I am currently working on temporary work permit in Canada. My work permit is going to expire on April 2018.
Due to some personal emergency I have to travel back to India for a month by end of Jan. My taintative return return date would be in March 1st week. My employer has started working on extension process of my WP. But looking at progress, I am worried if they would be able to submit application before I leave Canada. My questions are.
1) Can we submit WP extension application from outside Canada? Or we must be physically present in Canada?
2) If I go back and work permit extension is still in progress, would I be able travel back in March 1st week even my current work permit is expiring n April 2018?
