Hello everyone,
I could really use some help.
My husband is looking to return for a 3 month contract with a greenhouse in canada again this winter. Now that we are married, I fear he will not be allowed to have the permit because immigration will fear he will overstay his welcome. Last year he came in the winter for the same 3 month contract and went home when it was finished. With this company (greenhouse) they go through a program in guatemala called Comuguate to hire workers. A legitimate employment contract is presented and submitted with the visa application.
Has anyone had a similar experience? I realize a visitor's visa is almost certain to fail for him, but I am hoping that this will be different. Once he is here working I plan to begin a sponsorship application for him.
Any advice is welcome!
Emily
