TEMPORARY WORK PERMIT

Hi. I would like to ask if I can request a tourist visa since I'll be taking an exam in Canada and while staying there, can I apply for a temporary work permit? and if I passed the exam in canada can I apply there already?
By the way I'm a nurse and the exam i'm pointing is the CRNE.

yes. but nurse is regulated job in canada so you need to registered first with nursing counsil in canada plz check about requirements and eligibilities for that, once u registered if u got job offer from employer the employer will apply LMO than once your employer reaceived possitive LMO than u can apply for work permit with job offer,LMO, copy of your registered certificate in canada and your education and experience documents, mostly whole process if go in very very good-way it will take 4-6 months.
