Temporary Work Permit

Hi,

Guys Need your Help!!!!

I need to know few things if i have a temporary work permit with 6 month validity.

1. Can i work for another employer or not.
2. Can i extend it by myself or not. or only employer can extend it.
3. Can i find a permanent job or not.
4. What are the chances of getting PR when i have a TWP.

1. If you have a closed work permit, then you can only work for the employer listed on that work permit.
2. You are the one that has to apply to extend the work permit. However to extend the work permit, you need an approved LMO from your employer.
3. Sure - you can find a permanent job. However if you want to work at that job, your employer will need to obtain an approved LMO and then you will need to obtain a new work permit.
4. Impossible to say based on the limited information you have provided.
