I have received my study permit. But need my TRV ASAP because I have booked tickets for 4th December. The online process time shows 10 days but I’m very tensed if i’ll get it or not. Is there anyway to get it ASAP like visit office or agent or paying extra. Please suggest

Using online process I applied in October 5, and got "passport request forms" only now (November 19). So it could take much more than 10 days. Sorry I know nothing more.

Better to Apply Online and wait for result.

No way to get it faster, you are probably not getting it by Dec 4th but remember you dont need it to exit only to come back, but then you risk not being able to return until you get it.
Edit: There might be complications picking up TRV outside Canada if you applied inside so thats another issue.

Hi, I have the exact same situation. but my ticket is booked on December 8th. My study permit is approved on November 7 and till now it's not mailed to my place. How long does it take to reach my place? Moreover, the processing time for a TRV is 5 days and not 10 days. My friend finished the whole process in 11 days...

You are telling us that it took them 44 days to request your passport? It usually takes 5-6 days at most.

You will get passpor request within 3-4 days after apply and send your passport via express post it will take 2-3 business days to reach to embassy and the will send it back 3-4 days after . It will take maximum 15-17 days for whole process. My friend got everything done within 15 days .

Normally it takes 10-15 days via regular mail . Hopefully you will get in this week. Canada post strike may affect but hope for best .

yes , I got my work permit via regular mail after 13 day of approval But that time Canada post working hours were normal, i mean a coz of strike time may vary.

I did the study permit extension on Aug 14, approved on Oct 2 and got it on Oct 9.
