Temporary Resident Visa

Hi all,

My husband is being transferred( payroll transfer) by his company to Canda on temporary resident visa with specific work permit, for a 1 year project. I, along with my 2.5 year old kid, want to accompany him. What type of visa should we apply for? Should I apply for TRV and then for open work permit once I land in Canada?
Also, I work for a private company here, do I have to resign before applying for TRV based on my husband's work permit?

So he is transferring on an Inter Company Transfer arrangement ? Others can comment as well but not sure what the reference is to you the spouse working for a private company in your home country what that has to do with anything.

Yes, he is getting an inter company transfer for 1 year ( one year work permit as of now). His company would sponsor and take care of his visa. I wanted to know how I and our kid can accompany him? Should we ( his wife and child) apply for TRV? Also Is it required to resign from my current job so as to apply for this TRV?
