Temporary Resident Visa

Hello Friends

I have applied for inside Canada for Temporary resident visa (TRV). I have a open work permit till January 2016.

I applied online on April 30, 2014 and got email back from CIC on May 15, 2014 that A decision has been made on my application and to send my passport to finalize processing my application. I expresspost via Canada post on May 30, 2014.

I would like to know when should i expect my passport back? can somebody tell me what the expect time it takes for my passport to come back.

I have received a message saying system is unavailable due to maintenance during the weekend and today. I don't understand why they let me login but not to upload documents if they are doing maintenance. I have tried different browsers. I figured out the applying online was not a good choice.

Because system maintenance is being done for different part of the site, not to all of it.

It says that you should try later, so try later.

I have been trying later and later for three days. I wonder if I should delete my application and create a new one from someone's experience?

Is it only me to experience this problem lately?

The website is experiencing problem but that is only temporary. You may try it now as I can see it working from my end.

Did you clear the cache and cookies of your browser? Try using firefox as it is currently working from my end including the upload capabilities while I did this post.

Yes, I did, my dear !! they don't like me today.

Thank you so much...you were right on spot. I did receive my TRV visa last week, on Wednesday June 11, 2014.

This website is great.
