Temporary resident status when using Physical Presence Calculator

Hello,

I'm filling in physical presence calculator and I have question about how to properly specify temporary residence status and absence from Canada.

So, my situation is - in the last 5 years I was not in Canada for 2 years, but had visited country twice on the visitor visa (2 weeks each visit).
Then I became a worker for one year and then - permanent resident.

Specifying work permit is easy - just a validity period of work permit.
But how do I specify my visits prior to that?
Do I have to specify visitor visa validity period or only the actual dates I have been present in Canada under this status?

Also, when specifying absence do I have to enter first two years when I did not have worker status and lived in a different country?
Or do I have to do it for all the valid visas I have?
Or do I have to specify absence in between my visits to Canada and then all absences under work permit and PR status?
I'm confused...

Thanks in advance for your help!

Just specify all the periods you were outside the country in the 5 years period, regardless of your status in Canada and the country you were living in.
The first one between 5 years ago and the day you came here for your first 2 weeks trip, the second from the end of that trip and the beginning of the second, and so on...

Also, I understand from your post that you were a PR for 2 years, with 1 year as a worker. Days before PR count for half... Make sure you're above the 1095 threshold.

OK, it seems clear with the absence, but what about specifying the temporary residence status?
Work permit is clear, but do I have to specify the visitor statuses? And if yes - do I specify the start and expiry date of that status or only the days I've been present in Canada in that status?

Thanks for noticing the PR and work permit thing, I'm aware of that - I will be applying in September, but I want to have my calculator ready so I know the date exactly.
