Hello all,
Hopefully someone knows an answer.
I was wondering if it is a must to notify IRCC if I would be out of country for more than two weeks? It seems to me that this request is more to make sure they are not scheduling an oath during your absence and that you will be able to receive mail. I live with my partner in Canada and only I will be away for 3 and half months so he can receive all mail securely for me. I received AOR and my applications is in process since May and the only thing that I would expect during this absence is to receive a test invite, but I can take that from out of country. I already have my valid biometrics. I am worried that if I notify them it will cause further delays (and it already seems so slow for online applicants) and that maybe they wouldn't want to keep working on my application until I am back in November. And I can always change my flight ticket if needed.
