I need your advice. My brother has done 12th, ITI diploma ( plumber) from India and having one year experience as a plumber in Dubai. He wants to try for work permit in Canada ( Any province). Can anybody help me out if he is elligible to come canada on work permit and what is the best way to apply.

The first thing he needs to do is find an employer in Canada who is willing to offer him a full time job. That employer must then obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion. Only then will your brother be able to apply for a work permit.

So he needs to find an employer in Canada first.

The above mentioned consultant ask me to pay$189 for CAQ(Certificate for Acceptance in Quebec) I have paid and i got CAQ document, now he ask me to pay $550 for Temporary work permit. how can i check whether am dealing with legal consultant or not.

I went Canada embassy(VFS) in my hometown but i didn't get any proper response. could you please help me out.

It's not possible to be a scam. Quebec immigration minister Kathleen Weil has said that Quebec doesn't have any problems with the TFW program. No abuse. No scams.

Interesting that you say that... The last three scams that have been reported of this sort all came from Quebec. Maybe they have a lot of sand there for their immigration minister to put her head in...

What if I arrange Canadian employer who is ready to give him LMO. Whats the ielts band requirement for Temporary workers? or can they apply without ielts?

Does canadian government open Temporary foreign worker visa for particular category or no? if yes, can you provide me link if possible.

i got lmo from this employer http://www.indiaspice.ca/
but cant see any product under any category what they sells.
it may be because of my ip add is not in canada. if u can check this will b great help.

Although the domain has existed since 2008, the web pages all say copyright 2014, you can't create a new account and there don't appear to be any products for sale.

Having said that, there are lots of external references to the company, dating back for at least a year.
Maybe they just have bad website administrators.

It may be OK and I haven't been able to find any really bad things about the company.

The conditions seem quite weird to me and i live and work in Montreal. So i know the details of process of twp in Quebec

Why would you pay the fee for CAQ? It should be obtained along with LMO by your employer.

Moreover, for work permit application - you would submit it in your home country to local Canadian Embassy. Payment for that is done online or through other local means specified by the embassy.

There is no way in my knowledge that a work permit application can be applied for on your behalf in Canada. It can only be done for some one already in Canada (legally admitted for a year - so doesn't count visit visa status in general).

Lastly the fee for twp until i checked was 150 CAD.
