IMO, 30% chance of getting approved, you don't have any travel history.

Even a return flight is not a good enough tie. CIC does not even recommend you to buy flights before a visa is granted.

Students without travel history are very typically refused, so you will have to overcome a lot of things that aren't in your favor.

- Yes, declare the fixed deposit that you shared with me over PM. Your current account is not enough. Supply their bank certificates with date of opening, plus 4 months statements of your current account.
- As much as possible, in addition to your cousin's invitation letter, also have them supply a certificate of employment and their latest bank statement.
- No need for the curriculum vitae, that is unnecessary
- The return flight is no guarantee
- If you can provide your school's academic calendar or syllabus, that might also help

Hi, I'm a student who applied for a TRV too. Haven't been anywhere but the neighboring countries. I think making sure you provide enough documentation that you will return after your trip is crucial for an approval. Here's what I included.

FORMS, IDENTITY, AND IMMIGRATION STATUS
- Application form, dated, signed with required pictures
- Family Information
- Photocopy of my birth certificate, identity card, driving license and passport, and a student’s pass (as immigration status in current country)
- Immigration and Checkpoints Authority Approval letters

FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND STATUS

- Proof of financial support
o Letter of Financial Support from my mother, who is sponsoring my studies
o Her current bank balance and transaction history for the last 6 months
o My bank statements from account in current country for the past 6 months
o A joint savings account with grandmother in home country which is a recent inheritance
o A joint fixed deposit with grandmother in home country that can be liquidated if required

TIES TO CURRENT COUNTRY
- Letter from university stating certification of registration and course duration
- Offer letters and Student Contract with university stating specific course details and timetable (show when your term ends and starts)
- Fee payment receipt and transfer proof
- Transcripts from previous years
- Rental Agreement

PURPOSE OF VISIT
- Letter of Invitation from
o Proof of citizenship (Birth Certificate and Operator’s license)
o Pay stubs from previous months
o Screenshots of text conversations, contact details and social media connection as proof of friendship
o Photos of care packages sent over the years
- Detailed day-to-day itinerary including estimated budget (Show your day-to-day planned activities and how much you plan to spend, I factored in contribution to hosts, emergency and shopping as well)

- Travel History (I provided a detailed explanation for every stamp on my passport, stating location, date, and purpose of travel)
- Receipt for confirmed return air tickets from X Airlines

Hope this helps!

Not strong enough in CIC's point of view.

Quick question. The forms need to be printed, signed and scanned or just digitally writing name is sufficient?

If you are submitting in person (Which I did), it needs to be printed, signed and dated.
If you're submitting online verifying it should suffice, if I'm not mistaken.
