I came to Canada as a live in caregiver last 2010 and went back home on a family emergency for two months then I was able to come back and was released by my employer. I was able to complete 16 months as live in caregiver. I was on temporary resident status when I came back and looked for an employer. While on temp resident status I lived in with my boyfriend. Then luckily I found an employer and processed my papers later then after my work permit was approved I learned that I was pregnant with my beautiful baby girl. I didn't start working yet on my new employer because of the pregnancy and birth. I now have a 3 month old baby girl and I had been living with the father of my baby for quite sometime now. We had been together for a year. And now my employer is wanting me to start working already which I'm okay with since my papers are with her. Which is a better option for me and my girl? For him to sponsor me as common law or just finish my live in caregiver program since I only have 8 months to complete? My boyfriend is "hesitant" as well on sponsoring me. He is a Canadian citizen. Please help. Thanks
