Hi All,
I came to Canada in August, on a visitor visa.
I have no exit date in my passport, but I am going to assume I have overstayed.
Long story short, my mother who is a Citizen and nearly 70 has been unwell, so I partly stayed to help her, and I had met a lady last time I was over, and we have bought a house together and live as a common law couple. We love each other, and do not want to be parted. I am in my late 40`s so its not a young love that will fizzle out lol.
My questions are:
How can I apply to get my PR if I have overstayed.
My "Spouse" will keep me during the process, although I have funds for myself.
I do not want to leave here, I love it, I love the people, but I need to make sure I am legally allowed to stay.
Any help most appreciated.
