Telephone marriage: Anyone with same situation

Hi

My name is Mohammed. I am working as Designer in Canada.I applied CEC ON 22nd June 2013 got AOR.

I am from India and I want to get married to my gf in pakistan. As everybody know how tough is India Pakistan visa can i do Phone Marriage as phone marriage is legal in pakistan and add my GF in CEC?By doing phone marriage my gf will get marriage certificate and they will send it here to sign it and then she can apply for new passport with my name.

I donot know how to proceed.I am thinking if i get my PR and want to sponser her waiting time is 24 months may be more.I donot want to wait as we already being engaged from 3 years.

So please tell me its TOUGH to prove Phone marriage authantic or not. I know peaple who did phone marriage from pakistan to sponser their wife to canada.

As i am a Pakistani citizen till now and you can marriage on telephone Pakistan marriage registration certificate will be issue but about CIC they will ask you all why you not go there give them resion because do to fake marriage now CiC Stick but you can do that but in my opinion you should go Pak just for one day or two but do proper marriage as CIC will look your case as per your tradition marriage system which yu know that.

Thnks for your kind response. Its tough for me to go in between my PR process. We are in relation frm 3 yrs. we have chat,phone records,gifts recieved i sent.Tough part is going in between PR process to pakistan fr marriage.
If they ask me i can explain but i want to confirm its legal or not as i m in canada. How i will show cic i did phone marriage?

I think you should speak to a lawyer. First because you need to check this is legal for CIC. Second, because you need to prepare answers for why you had a telephone marriage rather than a normal one. So you'll need to discuss with a lawyer whether it's true that you can't leave Canada during your PR process.

Also, if you and your fiancee have never met in person, this will be looked at closely by CIC.

yes frege saying right and about proof do Pakistan Nadra office give you marriage certificate but i advice you must visit it will be easy for both you and about my case i meet my wife online but she came twice Pak and then we did marriage .
