Hi guys,

I heard that apparently if you have studied in a french high school and got your french baccalaureate, you can be waived from the TEF exam. Not sure if its true or not, but it would actually make sense.

Does anyone know anything about that or can confirm this piece of info? I tried looking online but couldn't find anything.

What you heard is mixing 2 things:
1. for EE in order to get language points you must have TEF / TEF Canada or IELTS / CELPIP. And even if you are native speaker you still have to get the test done.
2. However for citizenship, if you prove that you did studied in English or French in secondary or a post secondary studies, language test can be waived.

So I guess you got a mix of those 2.
