Technical Support Representative in Ontario

Hi,

I am an international student I have done 2 year diploma in business administration in Canada. I have also done Computer Engineering degree but its not a Canadian. Now I have 1 year of experience working as a Technical Support Rep. which includes support for high tech electronic security equipments. Our Clients were mostly company employees who install these equipments at homes or businesses. Its very large international company that I am working for, currently in Ontario. I would like to know based this experience can I apply for PR under Canadian Experience class or any other category.

As long as your job is under NOC O, A or B, and you have 1 year full-time work experience, you are eligible to apply under CEC.

I like NOC 2282 for that, except it seems to focus exclusively on computers - I would check with HRSDC before using that one.

This one may be an alternative - NOC 6221

Either NOC would qualify as "skilled" for the CEC program...
