Technical Issue when entering name in Native Language (as shown in passport)

Hi Everyone,

I applied Express Entry with NOC Code 6221 and I have 416 points. I feel very excited for the next draw.

But the issue is when I enter my name in my native language application does not accept it. My name includes the letter "ğ" and "ç" so I had to enter "g" and "c" instead.

I mailed question@cic.gc.ca and made an inquiry to the help center for technical issues.

I have no replies.

Is there anyone who had a similar issue with letters when adding their names as shown in the passport?

Yes. My Slovak partner, whose name is Lašán, becomes Lasan on all official documents and in applications - their system doesn't accept anything else.
