Technical Glitch puts Manitoba man in Immigration Limbo

There is unfortunately no transparency... Their new tracker is 48-72h behind GCMS and has numerous glitches. I hope they can get their act together

Write to your MPs, if we don't complain and make ourselves heard, it is hard to bring about change.

Don't just write about your specific application. In addition write to them about:
1. How difficult it is to communicate with IRCC
2. How the Citizenship tracker that was launched in May 2021 still feels like a minimum viable product. Accurate information on the tracker is so important however people are unable to see their test invites, FP requests when they receive e-mails for these
3. Delays in the tracker updating. It takes 48-72h for the tracker to sync with GCMS. If IRCC was any other business, they would lose customers if they don't provide accurate information on their tracker
4. Missing emails for Notice to Appear - tests and Oaths, causing people to miss their tests and Oaths.
5. Registration issues with the tracker - Having to write 3-4 webforms with screenshots before a fix or meaningful response

It is our combined feedback that will help make the system better. I just wrote to my MP about it!

Wrote to my mp- the speaker of the House of Commons. Didn’t care one bit. We are just file numbers. Only after getting citizenship can we make a difference- by voting.

That's unfortunate! And yes, voting is the best way to have our voices heard... I wish Canada makes voting mandatory like Australia + implement Proportional Representation Voting (fairvote.ca)
