Hello,
A relative of mine moved to Canada on a study permit just two months back. He had a B.A from AFG and now he applied for I don't know what diploma and he got the approval.
I am thinking of doing the same. I have a B.A in English language and literature and now I am an English teacher for non-native speakers. I have been teaching since 5 years. I teach in Kuwait so I am sure that doesn't count in Canada. I do have my Kuwaiti teaching license.
I am thinking of getting diploma that is related to teaching. I am not sure what diploma to work for. I looked up the interent and I got SO many diplomas that I just felt lost. I have a bunch of questions. PLEASE anyone, clarify my doubts. PLEASE.
1- Which diploma will qualify me to work as a teacher in Canada? I would like it to be recognized internationally.
2- If I do qualify for any diploma, I will have to apply for a study permit, right?
3- I read somewhere that if you apply for a diploma, you don't really have a chance of getting to Canada. Is it true?
4 - Will a study permit give me the ability to take my family with me?
5 - Can we stay in Canada for good after my studies are over? If yes, how?
6 - I mean, I will be the main applicant because my husband is not qualified at all. So can he work in Canada in any of those petty jobs?
7- What visa will I be applying for my family?
8- Is it changeable and can it make them stay with me there for good?
Any further information will also be of great help. Thank you
