Hey everyone
I know I have posted on this forum quite some times and iam being concerned about things that might be non realistic but at the same time I don't want anything to get in the way of smoothly getting my citizenship.
Given the above, I have filed my 2020 taxes early March and was assessed accordingly. Got my NOA and everything.
Before receiving my NOA I realized that I have filed a wrong return type, and that I should have filed as an immigrant (first time being a tax resident ) and also I claimed a return that wasn't supposed to be claimed ( the tax preparation was done by an accountant)
Anyways, I reached out to H and R block and they refined it non electronically for reassessment
Quick question based on all that, does filing a wrong tax return but proactively correcting it affect anything later on, like my status with the CRA whatsoever
