Tax return filling issue Work permit- Please Help

Dear all,

I was in canada last tax year for 9 months on work permit from my indian company.

I left canada in sep 19 and Now need to file the tax return for year 2019. I already have T4 slip with me.

i was using turbo tax to file the return but confused with one of the option, "your tax residency changed in the tax year" so when I am putting the date I left canada with the worldwide income it's reducing my refund. I don't know what I need to do there?? also can I not select my resident didn't got chanhed last year?? please advise.

any help would be appreciable.

1. You don't have to do anything, the reason your refund is reduced, because you would only receive 3/4 of the standard deductions for your time in Canada. (9 months out of 12)
2. If you look at the T! General form in Turbo tax it will show Federal Non Deductible tax credits, you only get 3/4 of that, same as the Provincial.
