Hi, I'm not sure if something like this would even be possbile, but I wanted to ask. Could I get a Tax number if I only have a open work permit in Canada (WHV). I intend to study in Canada later. I would need it for dropshipping - would that even be possible? Or would I have to apply for the tax number in my own country?

You will need to have a SIN ( Social Insurance Number) for employment. Go to any Service Canada and show them your work permit. They will issue a SIN for you.

Yes, I think that I would do that also.
