hi I’m 18 years old and living in Ontario with permanent residency status, Our citizenship process starts in July 2019 and would me getting a tattoo now affect my permanent residency status or my citizenship process in any way?

Lots of people have tattoo's. Why would you think it would have an impact? As above, will not make a difference.

Probably because it does have an impact (sometimes severe) in other countries. Specifically in the US, certain tattoos that are classified as gang tattoos may make you inadmissible and result in your green card being refused.
