Hello friends..just wanted to let you know that Target Corporation is on a hiring spree across Canada. I applied for a STORE TEAM LEADER position at their Aurora location. Today I got email that I have been short-listed as one among the lucky job applicants.

The interview process started with an online personality test. Once I cleared that I was invited for personal interview at Aurora. There were 3 rounds and all the questions were behavioral type.

My advice for those who are looking for their first break in Canada is to apply in Target. They are mostly looking at the candidate's attitude and not prior experience. There's a lot of importance for cross-training and you will be provided with that.

I have been invited for an induction program early next week. Please PM me if you need any additional info.

Not sure about references. Did you get to complete 3 interviews? They normally revert within 7-10 working days

Is it normal procedure for them to send you on your way after the three interviews...without informing you whether or not you have a position ?
In other words, you have no idea if you are hired, until you receive an email within 7-10 days from in person interview?

Just want to share my experience. I had an interview for the Backroom/Instocks TL in one of the new Target store being rebuild/renovated here in Niagara region last Thursday. First interview was with 2 men (not sure what are their positions are) and it was 4 situational questions. When I finished answering all 4 questions they told me to wait for few minutes. After few minutes 2 women came to the room and they said they are there for the 2nd interview. One of the interviewer is the ETL and one is GSTL. They asked me almost the same questions. I think answered well.

After I finished the 2nd interview and when the GSTL have escorted me going outside their office, one of the men from the 1st interview talked to me if I am ok to work early in the morning (like 4 am in the morning) and I said yes. What do you think guys of my chances? I hope there's a good result in 5-7 days from now.

There isn't an exact match. Stocker is about $11. Retail supervisors between $13-16, so I would imagine around $13.
