i am from barbados do i have to fly to another country to take the ielts test or is there a more convienient way

You can take the test in Barbados itself, google IELTS and find the center in your country...........

Hiii....Where you from ?? If you are from India ... then under SPP category ... You must have to do IELTS .... whereas, on General category ... IELTS is the requirement of College/University not the embassy ... But, it is highly recommended that get your IELTS to avoid risks and secure maximum chances to fulfil your dream... !
