Taking family to oath ceremony

Received the letter for oath ceremony just for myself, at Mississauga for Nov 2 @ 9AM. This one is not listed as public on CIC website but the 9.45AM session is.

I want to take my family to the ceremony, but no where in the letter it explicitly mentions that I can bring guests. However they have included the Permission release and content form, for taking pictures of minors.

Anybody with similar experience of taking family to the ceremony? I can call CIC, but if I can get an answer here that might be easier. Thanks!

When we went to my husband's ceremony, space for family members was very limited and each individual who was taking the oath was only allowed to bring one guest into the room. This was at the Scarborough office.

You are allowed to bring one guest but if you are lucky and sometimes the oath will be filled with people who are from same family and no guest. In that case if there us vacant seat then they will let more than one guest for you. So nothing is guaranteed. Would not hurt to try. Also if the officer at the entrance is in a good mood then he/she may let your family in anyways. Go early that always helps.
