Taking a fall semester off...

I am pursuing my first semester right now that will end in April. Can I take summer classes and take fall semester off? Will that affect my PGWP? Is it mandatory to take the fall semester as an international student?

I would discourage taking the fall semester officially you want to apply for pgwp. Depending on the course summer semester may be a scheduled break when you can still take courses. Fall semester is never a scheduled break. Is there a reason you need to take the fall semester off? You would not be able to work if not attending school and it is not a scheduled break.

Just to add, if you aren’t attending scheduled classes for 3 months, you student visa will be cancelled.
