I mean, submitting this citizenship application is not launching a space shuttle. We need to follow the guide and specifications, but this doesn't mean we need to be over reacting with panic.

Take it easy, guys. Read all the guide and specification, and prepare your package WITH ease.

I think the reason everyone panics is that Canadian laws are really strict. And getting a citizenship here is really hard, unlike some other countries. And I guess the new physical residency requirements make it even more difficult for people to get a citizenship in Canada. Contacting an immigration lawyer can help us in getting the correct documents, since they know a great deal about immigration laws.

Also, citizenship is a big deal to a lot of people, and when things matter to us we sometimes may get anxious that something could happen to it.

To me, it's virtually impossible to not worry about some things. With this application I checked, double checked, triple checked, marked on a sheet how many times I checked each item in the checklist. Closed the envelope. Opened, checked twice more. Closed. Got afraid that I might've forgotten something, opened again. At FedEx they made me remove my envelope to use theirs, and because of that I got even more anxious later, afraid that something could've dropped. Came home, checked this board, saw bad advice (that some documents were a must, when they aren't), worried more (but this one faded soon enough)... On a rational level, I know that I filled everything correctly and included all necessary documentation. Emotions and rational thought don't necessarily go together, though.
