Hello everyone,
I have been working part-time for a small business for about 18 months as a student. Job title is skill B. They only issued me a T4A and and did not deduct any taxes. I filed for my Taxes last year and paid for them and CPP. However, my employer said they can provide a reference letter in the future for immigration that indicates I'm a part-time worker working for them. I'm certainly not a contractor or self-employed. I do my job duties based on what I'm told by the business, just like what other employees would do.
My question is does this experience qualify under the FSW? Also another question: What documents will i have to submit as proof, will my T4A from the employer, reference letter, CRA proof of income statement (downloaded from the CRA webpage) and cheques from the employer suffice?
