If I am currently employed by a Canadian company full-time and working outside of Canada (remotely, optional - not assigned a role), and if I am in trouble meeting my PR RO, should I ask my employer to switch me to a contract-based role?
Can I legally remain a full-time employee (non-contract) for this company if my PR is in danger, or, if my PR has been revoked?
What are the pros and cons of switching to a contract-based role, with respect to my status in Canada, etc.?
