You will be provided with package containing information at our Human
Resources Department. Your job commences immediately after the
orientation. Should you accept this job offer per Company
policy, you'll be eligible to receive the following:
1. SALARY:
Your monthly salary shall be Nine Thousand Two Hundred Canadian Dollar
($9,200 CAD) and it will be receive before the 25th of every month.
2. WORK SCHEDULE:
Northern Atlas, Inc. Canada policies on standard hours, overtime and
compensatory time apply to this position; the standard hours of work
for the employee is 40 hours per week. The employee will be
compensated for work time that exceeds standard hours at a rate of 1.5
times their regular hourly rate, provided that overtime work is
approved in advance by employer. Salary and contract period shall also
be liable to increments with time and employee official promotion and
position in service.
3. ACCOMMODATION:
Northern Atlas, Inc. Canada will provide accommodation to all foreign
Nationals at the Government Reserved Area; both singles and family
accommodation are available, depending on your family status.
4. SICK LEAVE:
You must notify the company or immediate supervisor as soon as
possible if you are unable to work for medical reason. Such notice
shall be given within the first four hours of the working day. In a
case of emergency situation, an employee will be flown to his country
or in Canada here, or any country suitable for the best medical
attention. Employee is entitled to health insurance scheme under the
law of Canada and you are entitled to fourteen (14) days of paid sick
leave annually.
5. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:
All government gazette Public holidays may be observed depending on
the exigencies of work. The management may decide to operate on
holidays on overtime paid hours and employee may not proceed on any
holiday without an official statement from the company.
6. ANNUAL LEAVE:
You will be entitled to thirty (30) days paid leave annually. The
first such leave become due after the completion on three (3) months
continuous service, the company shall here bear the cost of Airfare
for vacation trip for employee as well as his/her family.
7. FLIGHT TICKET:
We will send your flight ticket to the concern Canadian High
Commission in charge of visa endorsement of appointees and traveling
documents after approved by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA),
order by the management of Northern Atlas, Inc. Canada to avoid delay;
Also, family flight tickets will be issue as well if we are aware that
you are relocating with the members of your family.
8. REIMBURSEMENT:
You shall be provided with our Reimbursement Application Form where
you are expected to fill out all expenses incurred by you while
completing the processing of your work permit papers and every other
expenses you absorbed in the course of joining us. While submitting
the form back, you are to attach receipts of these expenses you
mentioned in the reimbursement form as valid proof that such expenses
were actually made by you.
UPFRONT SALARY:
Payment of your initial six (6) months upfront salary upon completion
of the procurement of your Residence and Work Permit/ Visa. The first
six months upfront salary shall be paid in advance before employee
embark on journey to assume duty. This is to enable employee settle
all domestic needs before traveling. As such, no excuses will be
entertained on assumption of duty relating to default.
8. VISA PROCUREMENT
Residence Permit/ Visa: Applicants are required to secure their active
Canadian Security Clearance Certificate (CSCC) from the office of the
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). On no account should the
employee request the employer to process his/her work permit without
the provision of (CSCC), which will automatically disqualify the job
applicant. Currently, the Canadian Government has implemented a new
law for recruitment as they discovered that Terrorists and those with
bad records migrate into Canada through employment exercise as the
easiest means to bypass the immigration stress and carry out their
activities here in the country by submitting fake CV, compelling
employers to process their travel papers. In order to confirm the
eligibility of employees proving that they have no criminal records,
not into terrorist act or drug peddling and addiction, the Canada

effective date of retirement occurs after the employee 78th birthday,
and that the employee gives the employer six months prior written
notice.* Termination on Disability: If during the period of
employment, the employee becomes unable due to mental or physical
illness or injury to perform his/her duties under this agreement in
his/her normal and regular manner, this agreement shall be
then.*Termination upon Death: If the employee dies during the period
of employment, this agreement shall then be terminated.
All Canadian Employer’s employing expatriates has been tasked by the
(CPWS) to make sure that all prospective employees pass through the
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to secure the (CSCC) according
to the CG Public/ Work Safety (CGPWS) Law 2003. This Law was
established to provide machinery for the eradication of
terrorism/applicants with criminal records, as well as drug peddling
and addiction from migrating into Canada without the so-called (CSCC).
Also, this is in relation and to assist in the resolution of
employment disputes, and for incidental and connected purposes. The
