Hello All
I am from India and our PR application is in the process under skilled worker cat. My spouse has a different surname in her degree certificate than the surname in the passport. For example - her name in the certificate is ABC DEF GHI, but in the passport is ABC DEF only. Infact GHI is our community name which anybody can use in our community. Previously, in Indian passports there was no place for Surname, it used to be only NAME:....... When we renewed the passport for my wife, the Indian embassy people made the passport as ABC as name and DEF as surname. in the PR application we also used ABC as name and DEF as surname as per the passport. I am her husband and the principal applicant and my surname is also not DEF.
Now my question is that, is it going to make any problem with IO to recognize the credentials of my wife in this situation. Please input your suggestions. Thanks to all.
