surname plz advice

hi guys just any one from dubai with similar suiation , as my wife passport dont have surname and surname line is blank as the last name is begum i dont think the surname willl be begum because this is commom name . Plz any one with similiar issuse and got the PR olz advice as my consultanat said it need to be corrected

I'm confused. So in your spouse's passport, the first name is "begum". No last name and surname, right?

no surname . the given name / surname is zakia begum

The best place to sort out this problem is your Embassy/Consulate in Dubai. Call the enquiry or approach them personally. Unless you do some correction or changes in your passport by the Embassy/Consulate, you can't do anything.

Hello imitaz,
In my case too , some family members do not have surname. When I checked, I got to know that many are in the same situation.

In your applicatio, give the name as per apssport. If there is no surname leave it as 'N/A' and write an explanation to CIO. Its not mandatory to have a surname.

absolutely correct ynet.
write ur name as zakia begam and write N/A in surname column.I did same way and recieved AOR last week.

I told you earlier dont worry just submit passport it will get stamped, read the letter in which they clearly wrote ke if u find any difference in name just send passport they will stamp, usually they take last name as surname and similar case was with me and i got stamped. hope it is clear to you now. dont b panic u will get it done.

Thanks for your Advice I already sent the passport , i request my consultant to put N/A in the surname line in the update chart sheet.

I had informed me if the visa get rejected due this issuse he will not be responsible.

hope i will . and How many days i will get my passport back after stamping ? hope within one month or more.

Dont get panic who told u , u visa will get rejected it will not dear and it iwill take usually 30 to 45 days to get back your passports thru registered mail. mean while keep checking ur estatus u will get correct info ke decision made.if it appears ke desicion made then u will get passport within 10 days if u r not stayingi n delhi.

I am planning to land in september and you are right one year from medical this means u will have only 8 or 7 months by the time u get ur passports in ur hand and to plan for landing , im resident of Riyadh bt i have been to india to get my visa endorsed and waited there for 45 days to get the process done. b in touch will let u know landing process and if there is any.

so nice of you ! by profession i am accountant , i have a good package in Dubai , is it fare enough to go canada , the time when i processed the visa there was no crisis. I came to know finding the job is bit difficult in canada.

if you can guide me where to stay ? what will be the expenses
