friends, how much weightage do you think a supporting letter from the client will have which explains the duties, period of engagement, working hours/week?

hi there,

for what I've read, and believe me I know because I'm having issues regarding this, you must get it! fight for it! knock every door, call everyone and see who can give you that letter. That letter is the key to the residence.

You might prove your work period, salary, and hours with the Record of Employment, but your activities must be state in that latter. And even doing this, your case would be like flipping a coin in the air.

The bottom line is the more you can get in that letter the better.

Not sure if client's recommendation or letter can substitute Employer's letter.. But if it is acceptable, it is a welcome news for people like us..

You can always include.

1 . NOA
2. All Salary Slips
3. You yourself can mention roles and responsibilities/ duties matching to your NOC.
4. A cover letter stating why your employer can not issue that letter.

Having said that there is always risk and office may not accept it. Nothing could substitute letter of employment with all necessary details on it.
