Hello everyone. I have this question: I'm aplying now for a visitor visa to visit a friend. The thing is my friend is paying for my trip, I mean, plane tickets, food, place, etc, so I'm confused about the papers I must submit with the aplication - as my friend is aplying for it and not I (because the trip it's a gift) what papers (bank accounts, proofs of funds, etc) should I submit? Mine of his? And so if his, must they be together with the invitation letter? Would be this situation a reason to refuse the visa or the entry? Thanks a lot for your answer :)

Unless you're appointing your friend as your representative in your application, it's still you who's applying for the visa, not your friend, but yes, correct, include all those supporting documents of your friend in your invitation letter. The more the better, your friend's certificate of employment, bank statements, utility bills, passport, etc.
