Hi All,

I recently applied for PR as skilled worker. I am still waiting for AOR from the immigration office. In order to prepare my supporting documents early before they ask me that, could anyone list what are the supporting documents?

Thanks a lot

Hi Wopms6

Please go to the following link (http://www.canada.org.uk/visa-info/forms/skilled/e_skill.htm) and download all the forms. You will get complete guide in PDF formatt on the same web page download and print that also , download the check list and print. I hope you will get enough information here. If you have further question please raise that.

Best Wishes

If you applied with a Simplified Application Process (SAP) then you don't have to worry about supporting documents for a couple of years at least.

Hi PMM,

Really, I applied with a Simplified Application Process. and I haven't received AOR yet. when I receive it, how long will they take to ask me to send my supporting documents? do I need to write ILTES test now or when they ask me?

Thank you in advance

We are applying using the London embassy. Do you think its atleast a 2 year wait to provide supporting documents applying in the UK?

By the way the link provided is great Gurdeep. Thanks for that. Atleast I can start getting things together now and fingers crossed we get through to the next stage.

Actually it is probably closer to 3 years for SAP applications before additional documents will be requested.

Oh my word that's absolute madness.
PNP is definately the faster way (providing we can find someone to employ us!)

Hi Wopms6

Just dont wait for the call from Embassy to submitt the documents, Start gathering the docs from now, its a long journey to gather all the stuff. Sometimes you need some time to collect docs from other parties Example ( if you worked some company and you never took the experience certificate from them and the company is at other city or country then it will take time to get it) Make two nice files, one for you and one for Embassy, print the check list and attach it in the begining of the file, so you will have better access to find the docs in the file. Add dividers each section for identification.

Thank you very much Gurdeep,

I started gathering the ducoments, and that is right it needs time to collect them.
I applied to the Canadian embassy in Paris, is it takes the same period as London to ask me the supporting documents as the above guys said?

Thank you all

As you mentioed that you have applied through Simplified Application Process (SAP) so you will have to wait a couple of years, atleast minimum 5 years.

You will be asked to submit the required documents and you will receive a letter showing all the details about these documents then you will be able prepare all this.

Hi M S Chaudhry,

Thanks for this information. Is is 5 years at least to receive a letter about these documents and then submit them or to the end of all process?
what is the difference between simplified application process and the old way? Is it longer?

Thanks in advance
