Hi Asivad Anac,

I see CIC is very particular about source of large transactions. :-X
I have my etrade account statements from Feb onwards.
Should these statements along with the sell transaction statements be enough to explain and cover 6 months POF requirement.
Or any other documents i.e. like "proof that the etrade account is mine", is also needed.

CIC wants conclusive evidence that the monies belong to you and are held in your possession. In your case, that evidence can be any documentation proof that the account belongs to you and further proof that the proceeds from those trades reached your bank account.

Think about this dispassionately and roll out an argument. Get a friend or acquaintance to react to that argument. If they accept it, chances are CIC will accept it as well. If they poke holes in your reasoning, fill those gaps.

I called etrade.
They are willing to give me a declaration that the account is indeed mine.
But they are not ready to give me a 6 months consolidated statement.
The monthly statement from etrade is too descriptive, and i worry the CIC officer may loose patience and ignore them.
