hello everyone,

I am working on filling out the sponsorship forms. I have a question about the supporting documents (i.e. emails, photos, bank statements, rental agreements, letters from family & friends, etc.) which will prove our relationship is genuine.

Should we include the same documents for the Sponsor's section AND the Immigrants' section - i.e. two seperate copies? Or can we provide one copy of these documents and refer to them in the appropriate sections?

My understanding is that they will evaluate these sections seperately, so two copies may be appropriate.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Here is a cover letter that I sent with my application. It shows all of the documentation included in my package. I divided my package up in 4 sections. (they were not actually divided, i basically included the document checklist provided online and put photos of us in an envelope and put his 8 photos for visa etc in an envelope and got a big clip from Grand & Toy and clipped it together. My package was about 2.5 inches thick!)

documents in support of application - forms etc
documents with respect to Applicant - photos, birth paper etc
documents with respect to Sponsor - passport, birth paper etc
docuemtns with respect to Applicant and sponsor "proof"

Everyone does it differently... but i only sent one copy of "proof" so to speak.

i sent 3 folders:
1. sponsor's applications, sponsor's documents (passport copy, income document, letter from employee etc)
2. main applicant's (wife) applications, documents (passport copy, cert of birth copy etc)
3. proof of relationship (emails, snail mail letters enevelopes, chats history, photos etc)

prooves of relationship should be one copy for both. actually everything is nicely described in the applications guide. especially in documents' checklist. read it carefully.
