hello fellas,

I have few of questions regarding the supporting documents need to furnish.

1. Though there is background declaration form, there is no explicit ask to provide supporting education/prior work-experience(non-Canada) documents, do you still provide them? Also in the form there is not enough space to expand the abbreviations, do you include additional sheet explaining them?

2. I don't have birth certificate but have obtained certificate of Birth from my consulate, do I need to get any affidavit

3. I had LMO however when I applied for work permit it was expired and I did not utilize it, should I still include it?

4. My spouse on open work permit has full time permanent job with T4 and all related documents, should I include them? will it count against us with the ongoing temporary foreign workers controversy..

any pointers are appreciated!

Nope. Only provide what is asked for. Look at the updated documents checklist on the website to see exactly what you need to provide.

If it's not in English, yes.

I don't believe it asks for copies of LMO's? Only work permits? Provide what is requested.

No. But only provide what is requested. Who is the principal applicant? Provide what is requested...
