Hello, My name is Aliya. I live in Edmonton (Canada) where i relocated in 2002 to join my husband.
I am a mother of a 7 year-old, an accountant and a writer, a blogger and a healing specialist.
From my own experience, I know, that being a new mother in a foreign country can be a little overwhelming, especially, with no family around. Entering motherhood, while still going through a painful process of adaptation and assimilation, is not an easy task! Naturally, new mothers may need help.
I consider myself very fortunate to have met many helpful and generous people over the years, who were there to help me with different matters in my proffessional or personal path. I, therefore, would like to continue this good tradition and will be honored to offer my assistance in the following aspects:
- low cost interpreter services during visits to a doctor, school offices, registration for ESL courses, etc.
- free help with any phone calls you may need to make during first weeks in Edmonton.
- free information for expecting mothers on baby-products, clothes and furniture, catalogues from the leading stores in Edmonton. Let’s meet for coffee, chat and browse on mom’s topics!
- transportation to the stores and assistance with purchase and delivery of baby items. A small fee is required to cover the expenses on gas.
- information on available resources in Edmonton for mothers and children (leisure, classes, entertainment, early development, professional help, etc.).
- completion of application forms to schools, subsidy offices, college or university. I have experience in completion of various application forms, from complex forms for work permit under provincial nominee programs, to school and college applications.
- information regarding job search and free government assistance with resume composition.
- harmonizing energy therapy sessions (cosmoenergetics, color therapy).
